Dibina pada tahun 1901 oleh British dan masih berdiri dengan teguh dan elegan seperti biasa sehingga hari ini. Sejarah menceritakan bahawa Queen Victoria telah melepasi George 111 sebagai raja yang paling lama bertahan dalam sejarah England dan sejarah Scotland pada 23 September 1896. Di hujung mata air itu pula terdapat perkataan ‘Victoria Regina 1837-1901, yang didirikan oleh orang-orang Melaka dalam ingatan Queen besar.

Kota Kinabalu in Sabah has always been on my list of places to travel to. So, when the opportunity to visit the city during a work trip came along, I was more than happy to volunteer.

Mural art trail crosses city

IPOH: PERAK has unveiled the “Ipoh Mural Art” trail map which showcases the artworks in seven locations in the city here. This two hour-long trail will cover places from Jalan Tun Sambanthan to Jalan Bandar Timah-Jalan Panglima-Jalan Bijeh Timah-Jalan Market and Jalan Sultan Iskandar, before ending at Jalan Masjid. Most of the mural arts are drawn by local artists Eric Lai, Bryan Tan, Chris Chow and Mohd Najib Zainudin. Even the famed Ernest Zacharevic from Lithuania had contributed his efforts in creating a mural piece for Ipoh.
