Description
Taman Jubli Emas is located at Jalan Suka Menanti, Alor Setar, Kedah, Malaysia, near the new Alor Star High Court complex. It was built in conjunction with the celebration of the 27th Golden Jubilee of the Sultan of Kedah, Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah and was inaugurated by him on 9 September 2008. This park displays the uniqueness of the state of Kedah since 1,000 years ago. The Golden Jubilee Monument in this park is surrounded by five keris sculptures that symbolize the 50 -year reign of Sultan Abdul Halim.

Kota Kinabalu in Sabah has always been on my list of places to travel to. So, when the opportunity to visit the city during a work trip came along, I was more than happy to volunteer.

Mural art trail crosses city

IPOH: PERAK has unveiled the “Ipoh Mural Art” trail map which showcases the artworks in seven locations in the city here. This two hour-long trail will cover places from Jalan Tun Sambanthan to Jalan Bandar Timah-Jalan Panglima-Jalan Bijeh Timah-Jalan Market and Jalan Sultan Iskandar, before ending at Jalan Masjid. Most of the mural arts are drawn by local artists Eric Lai, Bryan Tan, Chris Chow and Mohd Najib Zainudin. Even the famed Ernest Zacharevic from Lithuania had contributed his efforts in creating a mural piece for Ipoh.
